Staff
Pampoenpaleis Nursery School is proud of its friendly, well-trained staff who has many years of experience and service with the school.
Continuous inhouse and other training are done, and all staff do CPR training regularly.
Curriculum
Our curriculum is guided by the Department of Education and is theme based. We also use supplementary aid to support our curriculum.
Continuous assessment and evaluation are done and the following learning areas are covered:
- Life skills (large muscle, auditory perception, language development, sensory integration, music, art etc.)
- Literacy (fine motor development, visual perception, body awareness etc.)
- Numeracy (mathematical concepts, position in space, measuring etc.)
Classes are presented in English and Afrikaans.
Daily program
The school’s daily programme is tailor made to accommodate the different age groups.
